Community College

02 Common Issues and Limitations in American Undergraduate Admissions

1. High score requirements

The language score requirements for direct admission are relatively high, and double admission is divided into two types: those with language and those without language. Students admitted directly must have language scores, while some schools offer double admission where students can apply without language scores.

2. Long preparation time for American books

It is recommended to start preparing for undergraduate studies in the United States at least one and a half years in advance, which means that at least the second year of high school has already standardized the preparation. Generally speaking, in addition to preparing for overseas exams, the application for studying abroad in the United States needs to be made at least 1-1 and a half years in advance. To enter the top 30 universities in the United States, it is best to prepare 2-3 years in advance. That is to say, the more students who want to attend prestigious schools, the more they need to prepare in advance.
